[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide natural heritage review consultation services to the government authority located in Walkerton, ON.
• Environmental Impact Statements typically required to address natural heritage land use planning issues
• Understanding of water balance models, and potential impacts of water balance change on natural heritage
• Significant wetland and ANSI evaluation
• Natural heritage policy development, review and implementation methodologies, including the development of scoping methods and checklists
• Species at risk
• Ecological risk assessment
• Natural heritage evaluations
• Tree surveys and woodland assessments
• Natural environment evaluations
• Habitat assessment (aquatic and terrestrial)
• Ecological land classification
• Water Quality Impact Assessment and lake capacity
• Experience in the provision of witness statements and expert testimony in the law courts
• To provide expert advice that is fair, objective and non-partisan
• To provide expert advice that is related only to matters that are within the contractor’s area of expertise
• To provide such additional assistance as the county may reasonably require to fairly determine a matter at hand.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than November 2, 2018.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (Canada Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
