[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide leisure services master plan and strategic plan review and update services.
- Accessibility to leisure and community services programs and services as an organization.
- Assess current integration of service delivery among the different divisions of the department.
- Analyze current department practices for efficiencies and opportunities to maximize financial and human resources.
- Current marketing practices to communicate the activities of the department to the general public, including resource and financial input vs revenue generation.
- Make recommendations for future marketing methodology in order to communicate effectively with all residents in the community.
- Update 3rd party facilities availability for rental including days and times.
- Usage of parkland by members of the public, sports groups, special events, etc.
- Functional capacity, including the role that lands outside the traditional park play in the greenspace network, four-season park planning and underutilized park space.
- Ensure outdoor facility needs assessment is reviewed to determine requirements related to new rapid growth areas and upcoming community needs.
- Revenue sources to support current and future event demands.
- Assess the trails system in relation to the vision developed.
- Signage used to enhance trail system.
- Review the existing trails system and determine whether it is relevant to the community today or if a modified system is required.
- Determine service gaps for all age groups, facility types and interests based on current trends in the field.
- Inventory existing services provided through community groups, cultural groups, schools, health and associated groups that utilize town facilities.
- Review current practices with regards to volunteers including recruitment, training and policy.
- Analyze the impact of volunteer participation on recreation programs and make recommendations for future volunteer engagement.
- Make all relevant information about the planning process readily available to the public.
(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 24, 2021.
