[A] Budget: Looking for Proposal
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide brand strategy and agency of record services to develop a brand strategy and to serve as “agency of record” for the provision of marketing and communications specialized services.
- With a new strategic plan finalized, western is seeking assistance to develop a brand strategy, including a unique brand promise and positioning that will elevate the university, and position western as one of the best research-intensive universities in the world. this brand strategy work should include (but not be limited to): establishing brand pillars; brand positioning; brand purpose; brand promise, brand attributes; and a brand story.
- Brand strategy services, at minimum: bring western’s new strategic plan to life in a unique and clearly articulated brand strategy; provide advice to help integrate brand strategies across a large and decentralized university to build reputation and achieve results; develop a brand promise and positioning that will appeal to prospective students, current students, faculty, staff and alumni in particular; help western improve positioning, by addressing challenges and objections, while standing out in the competitive yet still fairly traditional higher education landscape; translate brand promise into realistic campaign messaging and tactics for a consumer public.
- Marketing Campaign Planning (including media buying): Develop a full strategic marketing plan, with clear business goals and objectives; Provide advice on key target audiences and the best ways to reach/engage these audiences; Develop full concepts for the campaign creative using a “digital first” approach; Provide advice on the best media for the campaign—including both paid and organic social—and develop detailed plans for both; Provide advice and a strategy on the best way to spend the designated media budget including a channel strategy with corresponding budget allocations; Establish campaign metrics, including goals for reach, engagement, clickthrough rate, web analytics, etc., to measure and demonstrate ROI; Develop an earned media strategy that would integrate efforts with the Strategic Communications and Editorial Strategy and Media relations teams within Western Communications.
- Graphic and Print Design: Alleviate strain on the internal Western Communications team by taking on design projects on short notice; Provide print and digital collateral projects which may include: Brochures, one-pagers, reports, pamphlets, digital brochures, postcards, banners, viewbooks, etc.; Deliver print-ready files that meet printer specifications; Provide project rate card for different types of design services offered and the level of individuals completing the work (i.e., senior designer, intermediate designer, etc.).
(2) All question must be submitted no later than July 28, 2021.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
