[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide next generation litigation software
- This initiative will support next generation litigation software,
- to acquire new technology and to streamline the number of different software performing the same functions,
- The project should ensure that software and systems help federal departments and agencies keep pace with the continued evolution of technology in the private sector legal profession while reducing the maintenance burden and ensuring value for money,
- Justice handles approximately 42,000 litigation cases per year. In the last 12 years, there have been a total of 56 litigation cases with more than 100,000 documents, five which were in excess of 1 million documents. Justice has witnessed a significant increase in the number of electronic documents being sent its way in the past three years,
- The current user base for the document review platform is around 2,000 users,
- Perform bi-directional file transfer
- Log all user transactions
- Track and trace the progress of the file transfer,
- Notify users of transfer errors and completions
- Auto-resume of transfer in case of connectivity interruption
- Allow the user to specify the destination of a download,
- User (licensed user who can send and receive)
- Admin (licensed user who may grant roles, see audit logs, also be user)
- Recipient (unlicensed user or recipient, who may receive files and send files back to a User).
(2) An optional pre-proposal meeting will be held on March 16, 2021.

- Onshore (Canada Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
