Government Authority located in Ontario; Canada based organization looking for expert vendor for website redesign services using WordPress CMS.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide website redesign services using WordPress content management system must be compatible with social media, Search Engine Optimization and Mobile.
- Bilingualism: The website must be in French and English,
- Branding: The website must meet The Municipality’s branding requirements,
- Bilingual Search engines: Google CSE: We want to get the most powerful search engine available on
the market to allow users to make semantics searches just like google does,
- SEO: Search Engine Optimization consist of following the best practices and guidelines to increase the probabilities of finding the Municipality on the Internet,
- Mobility: Responsive design to allow any kind of mobile device to easily browse the websites,
- Content and menus: The content will include information that must be made public and accessible
under the Municipal Act and any other applicable acts; important information for residents, visitors and businesses along with popular pages or searched topics (based on statistics),
- The emphasis will be on communicating information in a simple way to ensure that it is accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology used (mobile, PC, with assistive
technology, etc.),
- C.M.S. (Content Management System): A powerful but user-friendly CMS is required to allow editors to make modifications. Workflows are mandatory for change approval processes. The
webmaster will approve, modify or reject change requests coming from editors throughout the organization. The CMS must allow users to make basic or advanced changes based on their group membership,
- Social Media Integration: The Municipality has an active Facebook Presence, with some posts pushed to Twitter. We want to promote the activities (Facebook Events, whether hosted by The Municipality or community groups) on the website to make it easier to find,
- Unique Department Needs: An evaluation of each department’s needs and requirements is required in order to determine what information to have published on the website and if
any forms are required,
- Search within the website via traditional search bar and with voice technology,
- Potentially: Integration and API: Evaluate if it is possible to integrate any of our third-party solutions in our new website. Possibility of creating portal for citizens / property owners so they can view their property taxes, garbage pick-up days, recreation programming, facility rentals, and so on.
(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than March 17, 2021.
[C] Eligibility:
- Onshore (Canada Organization Only);
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
